  5. got whooped in a 3v3 bball tourney.
  6. turned his IPT into a remote control for his HTPC!
  7. BBQ'd in my backyard while the Pats played across the pond
  8. biked to work
  9. ate Dim Sum and Pat's King of Steaks for the first time in Philadelphia.
  10. pondered buying NBA TV Broadband....ohs nos.

anyhow, interesting things i did this week:

  1. found out my girlfriend thinks Mariano Rivera is cute......  Relationship.  Over.
  2. played an acoustic cover of "knock you down."  
  3. got my bikeseat stolen.  pricks.
  4. heard multiple "BEAT LA" chants during the Phillies game tonight.  ahh...life is good back east
  5. watched Tom bein Terrific!  5 TDs in a quarter?!?!
  6. discovered his cell phone plan is so old, he can never use a "smartphone" from sprint.  yes, all blackberries, androids, and palm pre-like devices are all gone.  =0(
  7. ate dim sum @ ocean harbor, philadelphia.
  8. got some hoop & harm with upenn's 1st years.
  9. went to BJ's and realized food is cheaper when bought in bulk.  mmm salmon.
  10. stumbled upon domino's pizza customer appreciation week: 10/19 to 10/25 - $5.99 for any large one topping pizza (carry out only and limit is 256 pizzas per household per day...)

  1. attended a Leif Erickson Day...party.  Accompanied with a keg and viking hats!
  2. fed my baby turtles.  One's not so baby anymore though...
  3. attached a red XL milkcrate to the front handlebars of my bike.  Much to the chagrin of Katie: "I don't wanna be seen with your bike."
  4. wrote a letter of recommendation
  5. watched the sox...then the patsies.  un "interesting"
  6. ate Macintosh Apples + Peanut Butter + Fluff...aka a poor fool's caramel apple.
  7. studied.
  8. cannulated an aorta.
  9. got tix to watch the Celtics - Sixers game in Philly.  also gonna get to shoot hoops on the parquet after the game.  
  10. got google wave...i absolutely have no use for it currently - but I'm pretty sure there are 8 other people who do.  lemme know if you want it.

New England Weddings kinda............rule.  There is something inexplicably beautiful about the changing of the seasons. 


interesting things i did this week
  1. ate cheesecakes, shangri la
  2. set up a Hava (slingbox + tivo combo).  I can now watch my pats on the bigscreen while in philly!  how sick is that?  No more displaced fan syndrome.
  3. won a bouquet of 15 roses at a wedding reception.  They went to the "longest lasting" couple @ each table.  good grief I sound like a car commercial.
  4. laughed till 2am.  my bus left @ 6am, 4 hours later.  but i had a ton of fun playing cranium.
  5. got tickets for the indians - sox game.  got warm fuzzy feelings while walking down yawkey way.  first time in 10 years, i got tix to see the sox @ fenway.
  6. gave away those tickets.  it felt like giving birth and then just giving your son away.
  7. would like to thank his stanford card for beating ucla for the first time in 5 years!  covering the spread was also pretty nice too.  and kkthx penn st parlay.
  8. got excited about thanksgiving football in lex.  I've missed the past 5 years worth, so time to bring the pain.
  9. became unabashed about breaking it down @ a wedding.  nothing like liquid courage.
  10. studied.
