Herb and Niki's Wedding Weekend!
New England Weddings kinda............rule. There is something inexplicably beautiful about the changing of the seasons.
interesting things i did this week
- ate cheesecakes, shangri la
- set up a Hava (slingbox + tivo combo). I can now watch my pats on the bigscreen while in philly! how sick is that? No more displaced fan syndrome.
- won a bouquet of 15 roses at a wedding reception. They went to the "longest lasting" couple @ each table. good grief I sound like a car commercial.
- laughed till 2am. my bus left @ 6am, 4 hours later. but i had a ton of fun playing cranium.
- got tickets for the indians - sox game. got warm fuzzy feelings while walking down yawkey way. first time in 10 years, i got tix to see the sox @ fenway.
- gave away those tickets. it felt like giving birth and then just giving your son away.
- would like to thank his stanford card for beating ucla for the first time in 5 years! covering the spread was also pretty nice too. and kkthx penn st parlay.
- got excited about thanksgiving football in lex. I've missed the past 5 years worth, so time to bring the pain.
- became unabashed about breaking it down @ a wedding. nothing like liquid courage.
- studied.
